Materials Testing Laboratory is equipped with the following equipment:
- Universal Testing Machine of 60 Ton capacity. Tensile, Compressive Shear and Bending Tests are carried out on Mild Steel and Wooden Test Specimens using this machine
- Izod and Charpy Impact Testing Machine. Impact Test on Mild Steel Test Specimens are carried out using this machine
- Brinell, Rockwell and Vickers Hardness Testing Machines
- Pin-on-disc equipment to study the wear behavior of various materials
- Metallurgical microscope to study the structural characteristics or constitution of a metal or an alloy in relation to its physical and mechanical properties
- Magnetic crack detector and dye penetration
