The Department of Electronics and Communication was started in the year 2002 for imparting state-of-the-art education and training in the field of Electronics and communication Engineering (ECE). The current annual intake is 45 students for Under Graduate (UG) Programme. Department also offers a Post Graduate (PG) program in VLSI Design and Embedded Systems with an intake of 13 students. To impart skill oriented learning IoT Skill lab is setup and with a view to strengthen research and development activities a Research Centre is also established under VTU.
